Westside Creates Public Outreach Team

Thursday night, 5/14/2026, Westside members came to the conclusion to create a Public Outreach Team. The team will consist of three members:

  • Trey Moore — Head of Social Media & Public Information Officer
  • Gage Abrams — Public Information Officer
  • Dakota Carey — Public Information Officer

This team has created a mission statement as follows:

“At Westside Vol. Fire Rescue, we are dedicated to engaging with our community to promote fire safety awareness and emergency preparedness. Through outreach events, public education, and community interaction, we strive to provide valuable safety knowledge that helps protect the people we proudly serve.”

This team will be in charge of keeping the public informed, maintaining good relations with the community, and overseeing the Junior Firefighter Program.
